Yellow sand

Wow!! This photo was taken 17th April (2006) in Beijin.(China)
Sandstorm coverd everuthing...
In Chinese big desert,a sandstorm rose up and then circumpolar westerlies bring it arounf China and Japan.
We call it 黄砂 [Kosa].
means yellow.
means sand.
Yes,Kosa come to Japan, especialy Spring time.
Unfortunately, this Spring has been coming STRONG Kosa.
Of course,it's not so strong as like China (like this photo).
Usually,it's coming in the west part of Japan and the sea of Japan side although 3days ago it came to Tokyo. It has been 6 years. You can see Yellowish Tokyo

Spring is good season although we have got something problem for health.
Because of pollen (Many Japanese people have a pollen allergy) and Kosa.
I guess so my allergy has been bad in this season.
Ummm...I don't like Spring!! but I like Sakura (cherry blossom),something beautiful neature ,good weather etc...

Actually,I wear sunglasses and a mask when I go to my office.

feeling...

I wrote about orz last post.
It's sort of emoticon.
Japanese emotions are great variety.
I have no idea how many are there. I think it's infinity!!
Many young people have a unique idea!!
New emoticon have been made day by day.
My mobile phone is a little bit old although,it has 99 kind of emoticons.

Today,I'd like to tell you one of common and old enotiocon.

m(_ _)m

What do you thik that?
We use it when want to apologize to someone.
Both of [m] are hands.
[(_ _)] is bow head (face). AN ANTERIOR VIEW.
This bowring is old style and very serious...
So,it's a rare that we do that in real life but we use this emoticon in e-mail...etc
For example...
Sorry,I can't go to your party.m(_ _)m

What's ORL

orz
What do you see it?
You might see just [o][r][z] but we see as person's body.
[o] is a head.
[r] is arms and the body.
[z] is legs.
Can you see like that?
We use it when we'd like to express to discouragement,disappointment...
○| ̄|_ ←It's also same meaning. haha.
I like these Japanese mark.

Spring is come

Wow! It's already April.
We feel that HOW TIME FLIES!! Junuary to March every year.
Because, there are lots of things to do...New year (starting work or school and so on),examination, graduation and most Japanese company settle accounts in March.
There is good expression word.
January 1月 [Ichi Gatsu] is Iku.
February 2月 [Ni Gatsu] is Nigeru.
March 3月 [San Gatsu] is Saru.
I Ku means GO.
Ni Geru means RUN AWAY.
Sa Ru means LEAVE.
It means January is GO! February is RUN AWY! March is LEAVE!

That's just word play!
